Franchise
WHAT IS A DEDUCTIBLE?
It is the maximum monetary limit of liability for the client in case of an insured event. Damage above the deductible is covered by the insurance company.
Deductible with a liability limit of 30,000 rubles costing 6,000 rubles (Only for KIA RIO X)
In case of an accident, theft, or other property damage caused by the renter or third parties during the rental period, the renter pays the deductible of 30,000 rubles (thirty thousand rubles) and bears no further material responsibility for the vehicle. The cost of the limited liability deductible is 6,000 rubles (six thousand rubles). (These details apply to the KIA RIO X, for other vehicles, please check with the manager.)
FULL COVERAGE DEDUCTIBLE
Calculated at 1,000 rubles per day, but not less than 8,000 rubles. In case of an accident, theft, or other property damage caused by the renter or third parties during the rental period, the renter will bear no financial responsibility for property damage to the vehicle. IN CASE OF REFUSAL TO PURCHASE THE DEDUCTIBLE
The renter assumes full financial responsibility for compensation and payment of damages in case of total damage from an accident, theft of the vehicle, or other property damage caused by the renter's fault during the rental period.
ANY DEDUCTIBLE DOES NOT APPLY
The deductible does not apply to the renter who was in an accident under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants, or under the influence of psychotropic substances, and also did not take necessary measures to protect the vehicle – such as not parking it in official parking lots, not locking the doors, i.e., not showing due care to preserve the rented vehicle.
Insurance
IS INSURANCE INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL COST AND WHAT DOES IT COVER?
The rental cost includes insurance against damage and theft with a deductible.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY FULL INSURANCE AND BASIC INSURANCE WITH A DEDUCTIBLE?
Insurance does not cover:
- Damage or theft of wipers, CD player, antenna, tires, wheels, license plates, keys, mirrors, or the undercarriage of the vehicle.
- Damage to windows, roof, and interior upholstery.
- Loss of vehicle documents.
- Damage caused while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Damage caused while driving off-road.
- Damage caused while transporting the vehicle by sea or river transport.
- Theft or damage to the driver's personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Deposit
HOW LONG IS THE DEPOSIT BLOCKED AND HOW QUICKLY IS IT UNBLOCKED?
ALECAR returns the deposit immediately after the vehicle is returned. In case of documented fines during the rental period, the client must pay the fines in full.
WHAT CAN CAUSE DEDUCTIONS (RETURN OF INCOMPLETE AMOUNT)?
A partial refund may occur if the client used additional options, equipment, returned the car later than the agreed-upon rental period, returned the vehicle with damages, or with an empty fuel tank.
