Barnaul
The capital of Altai Krai and the main gateway to the Altai Mountains. A city on the banks of the Ob River with a rich merchant history, the scenic Nagorny Park and views of ribbon pine forests. From here it is easy to reach Belokurikha, Chemal and mountain lakes. Be sure to visit the City Museum, the embankment and Demidov Square.
Gorno-Altaysk

Novokuznetsk
The largest city in southern Kuzbass with a 400-year history. Kuznetsk Fortress on a hill, Topolniki Park, the Tom River embankment and proximity to the legendary Sheregesh make it an ideal starting point for ski trips in winter and hikes in Gornaya Shoria in summer.
Novosibirsk
The third largest city in Russia and the unofficial capital of Siberia. The country's largest Opera Theatre, the scientific Akademgorodok, the Ob River embankment and Novosibirsk Zoo. A convenient transport hub — from here you can easily head to Altai, Tomsk or Krasnoyarsk.
Kemerovo

Kaliningrad
Russia's westernmost city, surrounded by Europe. Kant Island with its Gothic cathedral, the Curonian Spit — a UNESCO site, amber beaches of the Baltic, the Fish Village and Hanseatic architecture of old Königsberg. Mild climate and a unique atmosphere all year round.
Murmansk
The world's largest city above the Arctic Circle. Northern Lights from September to March, the nuclear icebreaker Lenin, the village of Teriberka on the Barents Sea coast, and the harsh but incredible beauty of the Kola Peninsula — the Khibiny Mountains, Lovozero Tundras, Seydozero Lake.
Petrozavodsk
The capital of Karelia on the shore of Lake Onega. From here it is a short trip to Kizhi Island with its wooden churches, Kivach Waterfall, the marble canyon of Ruskeala and the mountain park. The Petrozavodsk embankment with its art installations is one of the most beautiful in Russia.
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
A city at the foot of volcanoes on the very edge of the earth. Avacha Bay — one of the largest in the world, the hot springs of Paratunka, the Pacific Ocean with black sand beaches and the legendary Valley of Geysers. The Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes are visible right from the city.
